We set as little as we can. There is no banner. There is nothing to turn on.

What we set

A signed-in session cookie, named ry_session, when you open your account from the email we send you. It lasts 30 days. It is httpOnly. It is not used to advertise. Logging out deletes it.

A small anonymous cookie, named ry_fam, if you fill in the family-wait form on a prison page. It stops the same browser sending the same wait twice. It does not name you. It lasts a year.

What we never set

No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No profile that follows you to another website. Page views on the public pages are counted without a cookie. That count is off on your dashboard and your account.

How to clear them

Use your browser’s site settings for ringyard.co.uk. Clearing cookies signs you out. The family-wait form will treat you as new. Nothing else changes.
