Does your phone take an eSIM?

Most phones from the last six years do. Open the phone app. Dial *#06#. If you see an EID, it takes an eSIM. The lists below are the makers’ own published support.
iPhoneXS, XR and every model since.
Google Pixel3a and every model since.
Samsung GalaxyS20 and later. Note 20. Z Flip and Z Fold.
Motorolarazr and most edge models.
OthersMany recent phones do. Check on the phone.
A locked phone will not take it. Phones sold in the UK since December 2021 come unlocked.
