Both give you a UK landline number to put on their phone list, so the person inside pays the same landline rate either way. That part is identical. What differs is what you pay to take the calls.
Cellphone Rocks prices read from their own site on 20 August 2026. Tell us if one is out of date and we’ll correct it.
Which is cheaper
Cellphone Rocks sells a plan charged by the minute, so a quiet month is cheap and a busy one is not. We charge the same either way. There is one number where they cross.
Their 5p a minute vs our £19.99 a month
About 13 minutes a day
Talk less than that and they cost you less. Talk more and we do.
400 minutes a month, if you want to check it.
If your calls are short and rare, buy theirs. We would rather say so here than take £19.99 a month off somebody who is worse off for it.
Cellphone Rocks also sells a flat plan at £38 a month. Ours is £19.99 — 47% less, for the same unlimited calls.
At an hour a day, the usage the rest of this site is built around.

The part that is not price
Cellphone Rocks takes the call on their number and sends it on to your mobile. That is a divert, and a prison can spot one.
When they do, the number stops working — sometimes months later, once you have come to rely on it. Then you start again and wait weeks to be approved.
Ours is a real landline that lives on your own phone. There is nothing to spot, so there is nothing to switch off.
Why that mattersAs many calls as you want, for as long as you want. No app, no wifi, no new phone.
Every Cellphone Rocks figure on this page was read from their own site on 20 August 2026. We have no relationship with them and earn nothing if you choose either way.
